Good realy not good as I have been to Thailand and my partner is thai would never go here again
Certainly different from other Thai Restaurants I have tried. More authentic? Perhaps. More expensive? Certainly. Supercilious? You decide...Tried a dish that wasn't to my taste and after asking for something slightly different, not only did the manager not offer to replace it, but spent about 5 mins at my table explaining why I was wrong about the food and that's how it should be served. After I explained that I understood but still wanted something more suitable for my palette, the manager left and the chef appeared at my table to tell me the the same thing again! As if I hadn't understood how 'wrong' I was the first time.
Excellent pre-opening meal. Newbies to Thai, but menu and staff helped to make good choices. We had the house tapas for two to start followed by Kiew Wan Gae a delicious lamb curry, and Phad Thai Jay, noodles with the most amazing seafood. Gluten free, Veg and Vegan options available. Pom, chef and owner is an authentic Thai chef and who prides herself on sourcing original ingredients and buying local where possible. Well worth a visit.
