Good food nicely presented.Although the Sunday lunch wasn't off a roasted joint but a microwave or boil in a bag job was ok too eat.Service was slow For the price not to bad
Our visit to The Big Lock at Middlewich was very pleasant, the food is good and not expensive, they also do meals for 6.00 each, in the summer months you could sit on the balcony outside and watch the narrow boats go by , they are having a refurbishment in January 2019. Also the big lock is dog friendly.
Always a relaxing atmosphere with attentive staff and good food. Welcoming for our dog as well.
Beautiful canal side location. They have a good choice of beers and drinks and a decent menu if you want to eat.Their food is (or appears to be) home made.A really nice place to visit on a summers day if you like watching narrowboats and chatting with boaters or a great place to moor if you are a boater and looking for a pint and a bite to eat.
