Food here is lovely!! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars as the staff seemed a bit preoccupied and not fully attentive but that's me being picky
Not eaten but attend regularly at weekend. Good atmosphere and great bands so far. Only let down is the size of the bar...a little small and not much space to stand/sit
Went today for Sunday lunch, good value for money. Really nice food and friendly staff. Well worth a visit
There's a sign asking if you'd like to run this pub... I'm no expert, but the previous glowing reports of excellent food and a warm welcome could be a little out of date. This is a great shame as it "looks" like a really nice pub.For reference, I'm posting this on the 2nd October 2018.I sincerely hope that the next time we visit Middlewich, all previous recommendations will again be valid, but for now, I'd have to say "Closed For Business".
The Narrowboat is excellent for food and a good place to meet people. Steve and Gavin are brilliant hosts and they have done an awesome job in sorting out the beer garden. Drinks are also very reasonably priced. I have always been made to feel welcome, so WELL DONE GUYS XXX
